Hello, my name is Schiela, I’m a London-based artist working across a diverse range of mediums including oil, pastel, ink, textured materials, and acrylic paint. My creative process is intuitive and layered—merging history, emotion, play, and intention in a way that allows space for both control and surprise.

Nature is a constant source of inspiration in my work, especially the ocean. I’m deeply moved by the rhythm of the sea—its depth, power, and unpredictability—and often channel that energy into my painting. The ebb and flow of tides mirrors my own artistic journey: at times calm and meditative, at others wild and expressive.

My work seeks to challenge the notion of perfection. I’m drawn to the imperfect, the raw, and the beautifully unrefined. Each piece is a reflection of my inner landscape, where emotion, instinct, and imperfection are not only accepted but celebrated.
